I love Beyonce's music so I was very excited when I received this as a gift from my mom. The bottle is beautiful! It is a very attractive bottle, and I love the different hues of purple, from the soft lilac to the intense purple.
The smell itself lasts all day. At the first spritz, I smell a burst of sweet, juicy plum and as the day progresses, the smell changes to sandalwood and it is a dreamy smell. It is not too sweet but it is not too musky either.
In terms of whether the smell matched up with the marketing of it being a smell that arouses passion and love, I do think it matches up. The smell is feminine and unique, and not too dramatic and over-powering. There isn't anything girly about this scent, it is definitely formulated for a woman.
