I have to admit I had troubles choosing between the various shades. In the end I bought "Stiletto" - a gorgeous plum shade.
I am always a bit hesitant when it comes to cream eyeshadows - they tend to smudge, look greasy sometimes, transfer easily and they are very difficult to blend with other eyeshadows.
In this case, there was no need to worry about the smudging or transfer, but the product is still better worn on its own rather than used together with anothger shade. I also do not particulartly like to use my fingers to apply eyeshadow, it is not as precise as with a brush - and sometimes I poke my eyes, but that is all my fault, of course.
I think the product is a bit expensive for what it delivers - I was lucky enough to buy it on a 50% sale, so much better value for money.

As an eye shadow on my lids this lasts all day, a good 10 hours without creasing which is amazing for a cream eye shadow. On hotter days I apply a little translucent powder over them just to keep it looking good and it works a treat! As an eyeliner on the top of the lids it functions just as great and it is easy to get a good line without too much hassle. This product is perfect when you're in a rush because they are applied best with your ring finger and they don't need any blending whatsoever.
I have the Samba-dy Loves me shade - It is the most gorgeous peachy gold shade, I think this is my favourite because it looks so beautiful and natural, one for everyday application on the eye. WARNING! If you buy this shade and like it, you might want a back up because its a limited edition shade.
I wouldn't say that I am especially crazy about the packaging of all the benefit products, I find the female figurines (on the lipsticks and eyeshadows) a little dated and that they don't fully achieve their purpose of trying to evoke a glamorous feeling in a person - but once the products are removed from the cardboard boxes you cannot deny the quality and beauty of the containers. The packaging of the eye shadow is superb! With sensible caps on the beautiful glass containers it functions in the exact way it should. I find the little jar to be incredibly cute and really love the birds printed on the lid. Once I have used up the product I will definitely be keeping this little jar for storing goodies in it.
An eye shadow retails at around R215 at Woolworths, which is rather pricey....BUT this product LASTS and looks good for an entire day, that is why it is worth every single cent. You only need a little bit to get a good pigment on the eyelids so a little jar will last a good amount of time. There are currently 12 shades available and I can't wait to get my hands on the Stiletto and Get Figgy colours!
NOTE: Remember to seal the jar tightly after use to ensure no air gets in!
