It is like applying honey lip balm to your entire face. It smells great but it leaves your skin oily and shiny.
I am all for natural South African products and I love honey. I received Bee Natural Rich Rehydrating Face Balm in August last year as part of a RubyBox. It smells great so I wanted to try it. Alas it was so solid I didn’t have enough to apply to my whole face before giving up as too much effort. A couple of months later with warmer temperatures I thought I’d give it another try. As with lip balms, it had softened and application was much easier. However I found it too heavy for summer as my skin is left feeling oily and shiny.
At R 189 for 100 ml for Bee Natural Rich Rehydrating Face Balm retails on Bee Natural’s online shop, there are better moisturisers in the same price range that one won’t have hassles with applying
