Avon Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick in Natural

My goodness! Yes to this lipstick, my given colour was "fresh fig"...figs are fruits right? Okay well, I love the colour on my lips, my lips are a bit on the darker side, and this colour makes them look naturally "figgy" or red-pink, the kind of colour I love.

You have to apply a bit of vaseline on your lips before applying it though and it works the magic by itself. It is perfect if you want to have a tinted look or just full on colour. I prefer the tinted look. I love that it is easily wipeable when no longer needed and has a bit of gloss in it, so unless you like the wet look, it works by itself.

It is also smooth on the lips and I don't have any complaints, but if you are one who has dry lips, you might have to re-apply it t least 4 times during the day.

I found that it does wonders in conjunction with the Avon Ultra Glazewear Absolute Lipgloss..."Renewing Rose+ Fresh Fig"= Beautiful soft lips. With that combination, people are forgiven for mistaking you for a high fashion model. LOVE IT!!!

Overall

As you all should know I LOVE lippies and this one as always from avon has a lovely sturdy packaging and it is a gorgeous pink.
I received the colour natural flush which was a bit too light for me it is like the colour of pale skin. and it seemed to drown my complexion but formula wise i really enjoyed this. I like the way the product feels my the lips, it goes on smoothly and feels moisturising. It has medium coverage, meaning it is more pigmented than a tinted balm but lighter than a regular lipstick.

Personally, I’m not entirely sold on the finish because of the product coverage. Medium coverage lipsticks tend to emphasize the dry patches or peeled areas on my lips. Due to the buttery consistency it does not tend to last very long on the lips. I do however love the fact that it has a SPF 15 to protect lips

To colour or not to colour.

Thank you Avon, and Beauty bulletin. when you said ultra colour i thought it was just the name, truly it is ultra colour. It glides on so smoothly and leave a stunning finish and beautiful coloured and moisturized
lips. Every woman should have this one in their purse,hand bag, gym bag etc. One smooth glide gives you a natural shade that could be anyones natural lip colour. Then for going out add more colour and depending on the occasion add more colour ladies.

I love both products.

I am sooo full of excitement because Avon has launched a bigger, better, bolder, sexier, hot lips smacking, bouldering lipstick I am totally crazy about.
When I heard the news on BB, I knew I had to get me one of these and I did and I am sooo glad that I did.

Let me start by saying that this product has changed the way I feel about lipstick, using a lipstick and loving a lipstick. The motto is now, if you love your lips, get them the best which is avon ultra colour rich and absolute lipstick, so great!


I got one from my avon friend in a lovely creamy melon which was the only colour to closely match my skin tone. Colour is rich, luxurious, simply glides on and fantastic. So yummy, I just want to eat it up.
Creamy melon has a slight pink tinge but with some orange. My lips instantly felt hydrated, moisturised, appeared fuller, sexier and full of life. I have never had a lipstick do soooo many things at once. Ladies, this is a keeper.



What I enjoy about this lipstick is that it lasts the whole day and I dont mind when it comes off when I am on my way home from work. I love how this lipstick adds a touch of colour, not too much because its not to bright or heavy and its has an added SPF protection to keep my lips in fabulous condition.


Avon really has a great variety when it comes too lipstick, the only problem is that there are sooo many and so little time and money to try all of them.


I am glad that I managed to get hold of this lipstick because its soo going on my no 1 lipstick lipstick list as the item I would most likely like to receive as a birthday gift or spoil myself with.

I was recently sent the Avon Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick in Natural as part of the Avon review team, and I was really pleased to get it, with autumn in the air here in the Cape, it is nice to get a new lipstick and this one was a real treat.
I was really surprised by the quality of this lipstick. The Lipstick went on really smoothly and has a soft texture, reminiscent of those that a MAC cremesheen would have. It feels quite moisturizing too which is always a bonus with Winter just around the corner.
I was sent the Natural Colour which was lighter than I normally wear for my skin tone, so I don’t think I will ever wear this by itself, I will use it to mix with another colour, as I have always thought for the most flattering lip colour always mix your two favourite colours together, and you will get the best shade.
I did not think the lipstick was very long wearing, due to the creaminess and how soft they are but I don’t mind reapplying a couple of times a day so this really wouldn’t be an issue for me! I hate when I’m wearing a really matte lipstick and I start eating and I can’t get it off properly, ergh.
How I Used It: Make sure you exfoliate your lips so that the colour will look flawless. Apply petroleum jelly on your lips before applying makeup so that it has enough time to absorb and moisturize the lips. I applied the lipstick directly from the tube starting with my cupid's bow going out towards the sides and then my bottom lip. I blotted and reapplied 3 times to make the lipstick last!
