I simply love seeing the R29.95 introduction price products in the Avon Brochure, it makes me broke quicker but with lots more goodies ;) This was one product that I instantly knew I had to have and so immediately placed my order.
As all Avon nail varnishes and products, they come packaged in a black box with white writing. The conditioner is a light minty green in colour and comes in their signature flat rectangular bottle with white lid. The colour is amazing and so visually appealing that it makes using the product so fun.
The light, non-oily and cooling formula helps to ease dry cuticles leaving them instantly hydrated and smooth. It absorbs quickly and leaves no uncomfortable residue behind on nails. On application, the formula is cool and refreshing. Due to it being designed as a normal nail varnish applicator, it makes using it so simple and takes almost no time at all.
I do have some criticism though (which I find is most common with my latest Avon purchases). Although the formula says it absorbs quickly; I found it didn’t absorb at all. It didn’t leave an oily un-pleasant residue but it also didn’t quite do its recommended job. My cuticles were still very much harsh looking and didn’t even get properly moisturized enough to be pushed back.
I’ve just been using this conditioner as a daily ritual in helping to keep my nails in tip-top condition. I haven’t seen a drastic improvement but I have noticed my cuticles are minimal and my nails are shinier. It helps in keeping my nails looking pristine and well taken care off.
There is a lot of this conditioner in the bottle even after 2 weeks of use and so I’m sure this cuticle conditioner will last a really long time. But when the time comes that it does indeed get finished, I unfortunately will not be purchasing another one. I much prefer to use the Avon Nail Experts Rose Cuticle Balm instead.
