Avon MagiX Illuminating Face Perfector

To put it simply, this product was not magical for me. I do not understand it and I didn't really find much difference to my skin at all. All I got out of it was more oily skin.

Been using this product for about a month and I don love it completely, It does leave a matt finish when applied and it does cover up some imperfections like a primer, makes it easy to apply make-up giving you a smooth canvas to work with and it does leave you with somewhat of a flawless finish. For the price its a good product and the packaging is very chic for avon. Only set me back about R80 I think, but for ladies like me that have oily skin or break out easy this is not a good product to use, I find that after using this product my skin becomes oilier throughout the day and I end up having to use more oil blotting paper unlike other primers that I use that does not give me the same issue. Its a great product to even use on its own but it is a bit oily even thought it leaves a matt finish straight after using. My mother who has normal skin loves this product, i feel its better suited for people with normal to combination skin. Over all its a great product for my mom, she loves it and will be re-purchasing since its cost effective and works wonders for her.

iv only ever used one primer on my face and that is Avon mAGix
it feels like silk on your skin...make up lasts through out the day and feels great.. it just brightens us and makes your skin feel amazing

it lasts very long so that is an added bonus..
only thing is with avon you have to know a representative to get the product so availability is always an issue unless u have friends in the business like i doooo :)

The texture is amazing; it's like smoothing satin over your face. It starts out creamy and blends in like a fine powder to even out complexion.for me it worked like polly filler,sealing in and erasing fine lines and creating a matte even complexion without a hint of shine.makeup lasted all day with and without even longlasting formula's faded.will buy again

I loved this foundation. It has a primer in the foundation. The foundation makes skin feel soft and velvety smooth. It's so amazing that this product can feel so soft and smooth on skin. I highly recommend this product! The foundation leaves a very natural look on skin as well.

Absolutely love this product. I do not like to wear foundation everyday and I find that this makes my skin look smooth and clear without leaving any shine behind. When I do use my foundation, I wear this underneath and it just allows my foundation to stay on even longer. I recommend this to anyone who asks for an affordable primer :)

Magix as the name suggests works like magic to make skin look smooth and even. It definitely reduces the appearance of your pores and prevents shine on oily skin. The light silky texture eliminates dry patches on your face. It is a great foundation primer that allows your makeup to stay put even on the hottest of days. A must have in any makeup case!

There is something about this product that my skin can't get enough of. im not sure if it is because it allows my make up to set flawlessly without any mistakes or large pores showing or because it leaves my skin so soft and silky that my skin feels its being wrapped in silk. I use this product as a normal cream for my natural days and as a foundation primer for the days i want to look simply amazing. This is one product that will never let me down

I think it was about time that avon had launched a product such as this!! I purchased my product for the first time last year and felt that I made the right choice when I first used it, I loved the texture of my skin after I had applied it. A little goes a long way trust me when I say that!! I advise that you use it over your cream/moisturiser as this product will give a slight burn if you have sensitive skin and because of the little burning sensation I give it 4 stars!! On the whole, this product works, it does what it is supposed to do, your skin feels like velvet, it has a pleasant smell. Pores and fine lines are minimised and your makeup sets better!! I purchased mine from an Avon consultant for about R120 and that was on special!! I think its a good buy, so go for it!!

I use this daily over my day cream, it has wonderful spf20. It goes on so smoothly and makes my skin feel sooo soft to touch, its just wonderful, also with my combination skin, I dont even have to use a powder any longer during the day as it keeps my complexion matte and clear the entire day. The packaging is also great as it fits into any handbag and is easy to squeeze out even the last bit of the product. I am on my third tube and I will continue buying, now Avon has the Illuminating Magix Face Perfector, looking forward to trying that out with illuminating particles in it.

I purchased this and applied it after my moisturiser, under my foundation to add that extra glisten. It spreads very well, and you don't need to use much of it to get the desired effect. I focus on applying it to my cheeks, and avoid other areas so as not to look too shiny or oily. The product dries quickly, and just adds a slight shimmer (not concentrated glitter), so perfect for both natural makeup and for something extra for evening makeup. It is not expensive. I alternate between this and a primer, just to keep things interesting. As it dries quickly and matt, it seems to also help my foundation hold. A good one to try for that extra glow!

I never wear foundation, but I bring out this secret weapon on special occasions. It does make my skin look more radiant and smooths out all the little wrinkles and flaws. I use it on its own, no foundation or powder over it. My skin is a lot less oily for a longer period which is a plus, as I have very oily skin.
The formulation glides on easily and a little goes a long way. No caky feeling on the skin.
I bought mine when it was on launch so paid less than the SRP. Will definately be buying it again when my tube is done. I must say I was quite impressed.

I think I was expecting a bit too much from this product after the rave reviews that I read and the blurb on the product saying that it is a "secret weapon" bla bla bla... It is actually a great product if you want to even out skin tone and mattify your skin. It doesnt make your skin look flawless though, and I wouldnt use it on its own without a foundation over it, even though my skin isnt bad.
