Avon Lovely Fuchsia Lipstick

Lovely Fuchsia as the name suggests is a lovely fun coloured fuchsia lipstick that comes in a silver and pink package and it has a clear high quality clear plastic lid/ cap. It is a creamy hydrating lipstick that moisturises while packing a richness of colour.

As with all creamy lipsticks, how you apply it is crucial, if you want to avoid any school girl errors. A nude or pink lip liner and a good quality lip brush are a must for a flawlessly applied lip colour. I use my old trusty Avon pink bouquet glimmerstick lip liners to keep my Lovely Fuchsia lipstick where is needs to be, my lips. The lip brush is for even application.

The colour lasts for about 3 hours before it requires touching up and because it is creamy, it requires no special makeup remover to get it off nor does it leave you with dried up lips. For a soft, hydrated beautifully coloured lipstick that is priced just right, Lovely Fuchsia will be a lovely addition to your lipstick stash.

So I received my Avon lipstick products yesterday. (The Durban mail takes SO long I tell you!)

I was so excited to unwrap my parcel and to receive my two Avon products, the Avon Lipstick in 'Lovely Fuchsia' and the Avon 'Ultra Glazewear' with SPF 15!

I tried on the Avon Lipstick, and the first thing I noticed was that it smelt so lovely! (Excuse the pun.) This lipstick in 'Lovely Fuchsia' is just that... pink, shiny and moist. Just the way I like my lipstick.

A lot of lipstick that I've tried or had before, tended to feel very dry on my lips, and I've often had to put lip gloss over. I found with this lipstick, it was smooth and 'smackable.' I really was impressed with it... It made me feel like a star in the making!
