Avon Ideal Flawless CC Colour Corrector Cream SPF50
~The brochure says:
Lightweight multi-tasking formula with colour correcting pigments conceals flaws immediately and fades the look of pigmentation. colour: nude
~Among the extensive list of ingredients that I couldn’t pronounce, the interesting ingredients I noticed are:
* kaolin (clay): the product was not greasy/oily on my skin. It had a mattifying effect.
* licorice root extract: This is known for its lightening effect. I noticed that a spot of hyper pigmentation next to my eye is indeed lightening.
* camellia sinensis leaf extract (commonly referred to as green tea extract): We all know how good green tea is for us. Ditto for our skin.
~What I don’t like about it:
* There is a long list of ingredients that I can’t pronounce
* It has SPF50, which is great for the day, but at night, it casts a white glow on my face.
~What I like about it:
* SPF50 – great for the day
* Very light coverage – just the way I like it. It seems that there is only a small amount of pigment in this product. The pigment seems to work in a special amazing way that camouflages imperfections without covering them. It’s as if the pigment particles reflect light.
* No cakey effect; the product doesn’t cake around imperfections.
* It smells very mild; a bit like sun block.
