Avon Eyeshadow Primer in Light Beige

I am reading all these positive reviews and wondering if the one that I purchased may have been a dud???

It just did not work out at all for me. It was quite dry and hard to blend. I experienced a lot of flaking.

It made my eyes look so much older. I do have dryness around my eye area and this just accentuated that.

Not sure whether I would give this another go...

This is stunning cream to powder primer that glides over your eyelid to create a beautiful matt base. As you blend the primer it gradually becomes Matte and creates a nice smooth area to apply your eyeshadow.

The primer helps to keep the eyeshadow on for longer with out it sliding or completely disappearing from your eyes .It also improves the colours of your eyeshadow and makes it easier to blend various colours together.

The natural shade that it comes in makes it suitable for most skin types .

Provides a great base for your eyeshadow to glide on Easily and stay put! It also helps your eyeshadow colour to "pop" , making it vibrant! Primer is essential for meals I am getting older and my Eyelids skin is not as firman it used to be

I cannot do my makeup without applying this product. Without it, my eyeshadow will look terrible at the end of the day. It really makes any liquid eyeliner stay on perfectly for the entire day as well. It is SOoo worth the buy.

This product is awesome! It has everything going for it - easy to use, actually works phenomenally and a fantastic price. Definitely worth the buy. It lasts for ages, too. It has a moussey consistency, and you don't need much when applying. It goes on smoothly and blends very easily. It dries rapidly and really makes your eyeshadow/eyeliner pop. It definitely keeps the colours rich all day and there is no running, smudging or creasing.

I bought this from a friend who sells Avon about 3 months back - it was on special for around R40.00. I thought i would give it a try. so happy that i did as i honestly love it, it applies like cream and blends in easy. As mentioned below, it even looks great using it alone for a more natural look. 5 stars for this product.

I bought mine from the lets talk brochure when i was a rep so paid a really good price! It has a whipped mousse like consistency and fairly easy to apply. It goes on smoothly and turns to powder once dried, its very light weight so a pleasure to wear, keeps eyeshadow put and controls the oiliness on my eyelids very nicely! Over all a very good quality affordable product.

Goes on smooth and creamy,blends nicely in.
Works great at keeping my eyeshadow in place.
No Creasing or Smudging and i can go the whole day without worrying
about my eyeshadow.

It was so refreshing to find Avon come out with their primer and at such a low introductory price of R39.95.It comes in one shade/ colour, Light Beige.This actually doesn't make a difference whehn used as it is suitable for various skin tones. As it goes under your eyeshadow, it would'nt be seen, but offers support and coverage for the eye-shadow to do its best work.

The packaging was the typical black Avon box with white writing. Once opened though the little glass tub took me by surprise. The product looked GORGEOUS! The little 3g primer was housed in a very modern looking glass tub with a black screw-top lid. The primer can be seen through the little tub.It's a very elegant bottle that will definitely be used to hold something once the primer is finished.

The primer itself is a liquid in a mousse consistency.This makes it easy and fun to apply.The formula is light and airy. Because of the consistency, the mere 3g will definitely be lasting you a while as only a thin layer is needed for maximum coverage.

Once applied, it dries to produce a powder finish with long lasting power. My sister used it for her Matric Dance two weeks ago and even at 2am the next morning her eyes looked amazing and full of colour.

This is a definite lust worthy product for all you smokey-eyed, glitter lined, bold peacock eyed make-up followers. It delivers on all aspects and ticks all the boxes of what a primer should offer.

This is an amazing eye primer. It's long lasting and really affordable. It stops my eye make up from creasing and fading during the day. It's simple to use and doesn't give eyelids a waxy thick feeling because the primer is actually quite light.

I use it myself and absolutely LOVE it!
