Avon Clear Skin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask

The first time I applied it I was impressed by how fast it dried and how good it felt on my skin. After I rinsed the product off I could literally feel the difference it made on my skin when I touched it. I loved how my skin glowed and how radiant it looked.

The Pore penetrating mask is a black mineral mask which is supposed to help reduce the visibility of pores. This product according to Avon, says it "pulls like a magnet to draw out pore-clogging dirt & oil." Sounds rather impressive hey?

According to the information supplied on the back of the package, it is recommended that you use the mask about two or three times per week. The mask contains Salicylic Acid and Bentonite clay which helps absorb excess oils and dirt off your face. It also contains ingredients from green tea which help reduce the visibility of blackheads. I personally love green tea and green tea products so this had me attention.

I applied the mask to my face and let it absorb into my skin for about 10 minutes. The time factor varies depending on how much you put on your face. As the mask dries it changes to a charcoal colour. The charcoal colour comes from the iron oxides which are contained in the mask. The mask is a bit drying and makes your skin tight.

I noticed a difference from the first use especially around my nose area which is my problematic area. I decided to use this product on a regular basis and my skin has changed for the better. My cheeks and nose are both smooth and free of clogged pores.

This product is definitely worth a try, especially if you want something to help clean out your skin and that is affordable. I don't think Avon products get the recognition that they deserve and I must say that I am really impressed with this mask. I bought this mask because it was on a special offer and I'm happy to say that it exceeded my expectations.

You apply it on your face as a black paste and wait as it dries and turns grey. As it dries, I could see some blackheads (that I didn't even see before) exposed. As it dries and turns grey it felt like it was also sucking the oil out.

I don't particularly have oily skin but I do get the occasional 3 or 4 pimples break out every month.

It's recommend that the mask be used 2 - 3 times a week.

I'm a sucker for facial masks so when this baby arrived in the mail i was all too eager to give it a try.
This product is easy to apply and more importantly, mess free. It does look slightly creepy when its applied to your skin because of its color and cleanses out your pores so if you're all into make your boyfriend crap his pants, now would be the time to do it!
On a serious note, i have sensitive skin which will react so quickly to a product which just doesn't work for me, but this facial mask from Avon is great. It's gentle and effective not to mention its easy on your pocket... #ThumbsUp

Fabulous mask , so easy to apply its not messy at all. The mask is a black paste which turns grey as it drys , I like this as I am not good with timing myself with things and this reminds me that the mask is ready to be removed.

The mask removes easily with a simple rinse off , skin is refreshed and feels healthy .
All dirt is absorbed by the mask and skin looks amazing because it has removed all of the oil that has built up inside pores.

Great for people with oily skin as it absorbs all the excess oil apart from just penetrating the pores.

Love, love, love this mask! I know it might look a little strange when going on, but it is really worth it. The mask is simple to apply, and as it dries from black to grey you can actually feel it working on your skin and it doesn't have a bad smell at all. By simply washing it off when you are done, you are left with skin that feels refreshed and that looks absolutely amazing. I ensure that I use this once a week on my skin as it really helps to keep it refreshed and looking healthy, and it feels so good. Plus, at that price? Super score!

So I've been sitting with this face mask for around 3 months, I've used it many times and I am actually quite pleased with this product. It's something new which Avon has launched. This face mask is a pore penetrating mask which contains an oil-absorbing blend of mineral clays that attracts and effectively removes pore clogging oil. Sounds pretty basic right? WRONG!

So this is like my magic mask, mainly because it can do some pretty amazing thing! Firstly it works like a magnet because it can absorb 400% of its own weight in skin's pore clogging oils plus it magically changes colour! So I'm not sure which of the two caught your attention more, but it is true! This face mask applies to skin black and turns grey when it's dry, meaning it's ready to remove.

I find it a good concept because you'll know when to remove your face mask plus you'd be more interested in trying it out! I have very oily skin and I find my skin feels amazing after using this face mask at least once a week on my skin. After using the mask I feel my skin is more refreshed and actually feels lighter and looks more youthful. My pores feel clean and seem smaller.

To use this face mask is fairly simple, you just apply a thin layer to face and wait for it to dry while drying you can actually notice that the mask is absorbed in your pores. Once the mask turns grey (it's dry) you may rinse off with warm water and pat dry. You can use the face mask between 2-3 times a week, but I use mine at least once a week and I've noticed an improvement in the way my skin looks and feels.

When applied it is black in colour and dries to a light grey. Goes on with ease and you feel refreshed after using it. The quality is better than other store products. Avon products are amazing.

as someone who suffers from large pores, around nose area, I am prone to blackhead BUT instead of ever letting them form, I knip it in the butt!! I have been told that clay masks work well to extract excess oil and dirt..so when I saw this product I thought wow!

I love how it changes colour, but I love more how refined my pores were..like noticeably gone!! Good product on a budget :)

I’ve never had much restraint when it comes to browsing through the Avon Brochure, and Brochure 10 was no exception. I was hooked on this novel face mask and at R32.50 just had to give it a try.

The mask forms part of Avons Clear Skin range, this range offers every teen to early 20 year olds need to care for their skin. I was sceptical as always when trying new products due to the sensitive nature of my skin, but after reading that this mask is dermatologically tested I was put more at ease. The packaging is neat and exactly as seen in the brochure.

The mask is very affordable at R32.50 for a 75ml, which will last ages as only a thin layer is needed on the skin. The product comes in a black and dark grey tube with green and white writing. The combination of colours used is very striking and make the product stand out. The tube has a clear flip lid dispenser. The mask is a black/dark grey colour and has a pudding or paste consistency. The tube comes in a rectangular boxed in the same combination of colours.

The mask is easy to apply and smoothes on with ease. Very little is needed upon application as the formula smoothes out evenly onto skin without feeling tacky or heavy. After reading this review, I used some of my brothers mask to see for myself if it was any good or not. I love the fact that when wet, it's black, and when dry and ready to be removed, it's gray. Besides the fact that I looked super scary, I could actually feel underneath how it was working on my skin. Once i rinsed off and patted my face dry, I could immediately see the difference. My skin looked radiant and matte, my pores looked smaller, my skin looked more clear and was baby soft and smooth. All in all, I really worth it experience! I think he paid like R32.50 for it, so it was super cheap as well, especially given the fact that it does work and gives great results!

It's formula is black and onced dried turns grey. Now the mask should be kept on for about 10 - 15 minutes all depending on your skin. Apply a thin layer to the face and leave to dry. I felt a cooling sensation once it starts drying, I felt no irritation or overdrying at all. I could also feel the mask absorbing the oil.

I rinsed and dried,(no white towels ladies) and felt my skin was soft and feeling clean and my pores tightened. The mask can be used 2 -3 times a week. I would recommend this product.
