AVON Black Mineral Cleanser

The Avon Clearskin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask is an affordable mask to unclog pores. It comes in a black and grey tube. According to Avon, it contains an oil absorbing blend of mineral clays that attracts and effectively removes pore clogging oils. The mask is black in colour and has a slightly thick texture. It has a pleasant scent.

To use it, I apply a thin layer to my face and wait for the mask to transform from black to a light grey colour as instructed on the packaging. Once completely dry, I rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. I use it 2 to 3 times a week in conjunction with the other products in the range. The products leave my skin feeling clean and fresh.

I am confused by this product.

It is meant to deep clean, but I am just not left with that fresh clean face feel.

The formula is waaaaayyyyy too creamy and the granules disappear quite quickly as you work them over your skin.

I am also left with a film on my face. I just think that this cleanser is far too gentle and hydrating for deep cleaning / oily skin.

Don't think I will repurchase this one.
