Avon Anew Clinical Eye Lift Pro
HotPackaging The white box with grey/silver strip down the left is pretty boring to be honest, and it would probably not catch me eye. The container is simple and has a light, fresh, clinical feel to it. It’s small, 20ml, but it’s probably big enough for an eye cream. I like it but I’m not going gagga over it. The big surprise for me was when I opened it as there are two separate compartments with two different creams, one for your brow and one for under your eye. I must admit that I had to stop and pull out the instruction leaflet at this stage as I wasn’t sure which was which. The instructions are very clear though, and the container also has great seal under the lid, with a tab to pull it up with, with images to identify which cream is to be used where. Usually I toss the seal, but gels tend to evaporate so this one is definitely useful. I was excited to try this out – not just one cream but two! Yay!

User reviews
The darker gel is the Upper Eye Gel and is to be applied to the eyelid and brow bone area. I was a bit confused as I have only ever put eye gel under my eye, as I don’t have wrinkles on my brow bone, but it’s obviously to lift the eyelid which I must admit can do with a bit of a lift already.
It smells fresh, not too strong and it feels light and non-greasy, and absorbed nicely into my skin.
Then to try the Under Eye cream. This is the white/creamy coloured cream. They have a similar smell, but the cream is heavier but absorbs just as well. It is rich and very moisturizing.
You really only need to use a small amount of each so this small container will go a long way.
I don’t often wear a lot of eye make-up, but I would recommend that you wait for the gel to absorb fully before you put any on, as it could get a bit sticky otherwise.
Results
The Upper Eye gel feels like it gives my eye a lift. I can’t see any visible results but it does feel tighter.
The Under Eye Cream is very moisturizing. This does mean that it can feel a bit heavy but I don’t mind that too much. I can put less on in the morning and more at night to get the balance just right.
Would I recommend it?
Yes I would. It’s not pretty but it’s a good product. I think it’s probably best for ladies in their 30’s. I’ve read younger users not liking the richness and older users saying that it didn’t help with the upper lid lift. It’s not a miracle product (like botox), so buy it for what it is – it will tighten your upper eyelids a bit and moisturize under your eye but it won’t give you a brow lift and get rid of your wrinkles. I think it’s probably more preventative than reactionary.
