Community Trade organic babassu oil moisturizes skin. We use organically grown babassu oil in our Brazil Nut Body Scrub. One of the world’s best natural moisturizers, it comes from the nut of the babassu palm that grow wild in the humid forests of the Amazon Basin. The local women collect the fallen nuts, break them over an axe and sell the kernels to COPPALJ, our Community Trade partner in Brazil. In an area of little industry, this is an important source of income, and because it’s Community Trade, the women receive a fair and reliable income. Use two or three times per week for maximum effect. Regular exfoliating and massaging can help tone and firm the skin.
