Not your ordinary Saturday morning

Dermalogica and Beauty Bulletin had this great event on Saturday morning. When i arrived at the Dermalogica Store i was greeted by their friendly staff members. I was given a form to complete with your skin concerns. i was in group number 3. We were told to gab something to eat and have something to drink, we were then moved to the front bar to try the Dermalogica products on our hands, we gave our hands a mini facial. My hands were left feeling great, super soft and super smooth. After this we had a slight break and a chat with the ladies over a glass of champagne. We were then send for our to the micro-zone treatment room for a 20 minute targeted area treatment with face mapping. My biggest concern was my uneven skin tone and aging. Funny enough my problem with my skin is dehydration. I cleanse my face daily and do weekly face masks. I also drink a lot of water everyday. Finding out what my skin problems was along with products i need to use to clear my skin concerns makes my life easier. For budget concerned people like myself who can't budget for monthly facial a skin mapping is a great idea. The 20 minute micro zone treatment costs only R280, this is so affordable and you receive a prescribed facial plan for your specific skin type and helps targets your specific problem areas. within these 20 minutes you receive a treatment with the specific products prescribed for your skin. After that we had a light lunch with some sushi and mini sandwiches. Each with a Vitamin water in hand we all entered into a talk about skin conditions and aging. From now on i am going the natural route more often. More sunblock and more water from now on. Loving my gift from beauty Bulletin and Dermalogica.

Wonder struck by Taylor Swift

Honestly, this has become my go-to everyday perfume, and I used to shy away from daily or regular scent-wear. This is light though, and it's a little more toned down than a number of other perfumes I've smelled, particularly celebrity fragrances or something targeted at the Taylor Swift-loving age range they're aiming this fragrance at. I think that's the tea note at work, paring things down a little bit. It's definitely a younger scent, but I like that and will definitely wear it as such until I've sincerely grown out of it (and hoping that it'll take a while). A part of it has to do with the fact that I really adore peach and honeysuckle.
