So it's a no from me and here's why:
•I have majority 4C hair and the rest of my hair is 4A/B towards my nape. It didn't work well in aiding the removal of knots on my 4C hair but it did remove from my 4A/B hair. It definitely did provide a 'slip' to my hair making it a little easier to detangle but not anything amazing. So maybe if you've got less kinky hair it will work for you however it wasn't extraordinary for me.
•The smell is okay.
