I love Eucerin products and there was no way I would not try the Aquaphor as it is raved on by American beauty influencers. This product is a multi-purpose soothing balm for dry skin and I wanted to try a cheaper option to the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant (same concept). I use both product on my extremely dry lips.
It is good enough to use as an emollient especially at night after scrubbing my lips. I love it and have been re-purchasing it ever since. 4/5 for and I recommend it to friends and family.
This is an absolute must have for anyone that suffers from dry skin and lips. It's a bit like vaseline but better!
I love using it mostly as a lip balm - use it at night and you wake up with super soft and smooth lips. Great as a primer as well, but sparingly as it is quite rich.
I've also used it on dry heels and hands in winter, as a cuticle cream, and an other dry skin issue.
I once had a pretty bad reaction to an eye cream which made the area under my eyes dry and itchy and painful. Aquaphor worked like a charm!!
Such a handy product to have around and a little goes a long way. Love!
This product has become a necessity in my life because nothing works as well as this!
What I initially thought was an expensive Vaseline turned out to be my saving grace for my Sahara Dessert lips.
I 'm addicted to this in the wintertime and would definitely recommend!

This has to be the best protection for my lips during cold/dry weather. It was amazing for my skin when I was on acne treatment - we all know how horribly dry medication can make your lips and skin. I literally needed the tiniest amount and it lasts the entire night. I use it on my daughter's skin and lips as well and I have seen a noticeable difference.
My skin gets drier and more prone to eczema in winter ,i therefore use this product in winter only.On my face and eczema prone areas. It is an amazing product which i also use to mosturise my lips though it is a bit pricey for the little packaging it's in but totally worth it.
I initially got this product on the recommendation of a beauty YouTuber who said it was her be all and end all of all lip moisturising products. She said she used it as you use any lip balm and especially over night to get rid of all the damage wearing too much matte lipstick can cause.
I tried it as I have always had horrible luck with Lip Balms and it just did not do it for me. My lips were left itching up a storm and I even got fever blisters right after using this product. The product was very oily felt strange on my lips. My lips would not stop itching.
I have however heard that it does wonders for your hands if you have scratches and nicks and cuts everwhere...maybe my application for the product was a bit off...
To be quite frank, I've NEVER used any Eucerin products before until this, shocking right? Well better late then never!Although healing is it's main purpose, there is no job to big or small for Aquaphor! I can't emphasize on this anymore, the Aquaphor is simply AMAZING and this is why. To my dismay, exam stress led to an unwanted breakout which I couldn't keep my hands off -I have problem. My skin was raw with numerous cuts, as soon as it started healing I instantly panicked thinking to myself WHAT DID I DO TO MY FACE? I tried almost everything, and eventually started sticking a plaster on my face like Nelly.
I then remembered I had the Aquaphor and decided to try it out overnight. The results were phenomenal, the next morning my skin had healed and literally shed like a snake , gross but very satisfying! I was SO relieved, up to now you can't tell that two weeks back I had a 10 cent sized hole on my face. Apart from that the Aquaphor is great for repairing, healing and preventing unwanted dry, cracked skin! It can be used on anything from your cuticles to your heels. And not only that it works GREAT as a primer as well! I would recommend using a pea sized amount as anything more could leave your face looking rather oily.
Dry lips, cracked skin, nappy rash? Then this is the product you need.
This balm is super gentle and very moisturising. Think Elizabeth Arden’s (original) 8-Hour cream, but clear, fragrance free and a little less tacky (when applied). Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of 8-Hour cream, I just find this balm a little more versatile and more affordable.
I really struggle with dry lips, especially in winter. I have ditched all my lip balms as this is the only product in my arsenal that actually works. Bonus is that it’s long lasting and it doesn’t have a scent or taste. I am really put off by lip products that have a sweet taste.
I have also used this balm on my hands (as an overnight treatment). I have eczema and my hands suffer. The tiny cracks on my fingers sometimes look like they are close to bleeding because the skin is so dry. This product helps A LOT!
I also use this balm when Cara gets a rash around her mouth and under her chin… she still drools a little when she is sick. She also has eczema and I can use this balm on her delicate skin with no worries. It has also worked wonders when she’s had a nappy rash.
I have also used it for flakey skin on my face, sore noses caused by colds/flu, dry feet, to soothe skin after waxing, etc.
I really love this product and I will always have a tube (or 2 or 3) in the house. I get mine at Clicks for R70.
