A while ago at Clicks they had a special on Amie skin care products. Amie a natural range of skin care products that are very reasonably priced. The special was one of those buy two get on free deals so I indulged in a skin polish, face mask and day moisturiser.
I put then in my cupboard of goodies for when Next I need some products.
Then my skin reacted so badly to the first of the winter weather. I had break outs, dry patches, the works. So I decided to treat myself by using the new face mask and seeing if that would help.
The mask is called Spring Clean and is a deep cleansing, pore refining mask with all natural ingredients. It contains French white clay, natural zinc oxide, lime butter and organic peppermint.
I slathered it on, hopped in the bath with a good book and let it work its magic. The mask is very thick, but it spreads easily and you can feel it working almost immediately. It has a pleasant tingling sensation brought on by the peppermint and it smells divine!
When I rinsed it off my skin felt a little tight - quickly fixed with a good dollop of moisturiser - and very soft. The effects are long lasting as well. I've used it once t a week for a while now. My skin has cleared up beautifully and feels lovely and soft. The pores on my nose look smaller as well.
The packaging is very cute. The lables are clean and uncluttered, the tube is nice to handle and it doesn't mess. Also the price is amazing - It's about R60 and it lasts a good while as you only use a bit every week or so. I will definitely go back for more when it's done.
