Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss™ Lipstick

A friend gave me one of these lipsticks and I really like it. To me it feels more like a balm with a very subtle hint of colour than a full on lipstick. With that being said I am in no way put off by it. It is just one of those lippies I prefer on those days I want the look of a subtle coloured lipstick, have my lips feel like it's hugged by a moisturising balm and still have a little shine of a gloss.
Perfectly balanced on those days where you need a little colour together with nourishment.
My skin is very fair so this shade suit most makeup looks I try.
I will definitely repurchase this product again!

I got this Butter Kiss Lipstick just recently in meduim Nude and I was impressed.
It doesn't quite have the deep pigmentation of lipstick, I do think however it would be more suitable to be called a lip tint or something of that nature...

They are however, VERY moisturizing!
The product slides onto the lips and is very smooth and soft in its texture. Quite impressive and moisturizing. It leaves a great finish, with a high sheen shine. It is literally a "your lips but better" kind of pippie!

Almay smart shade butter kiss is almost like real butter that just glides on your lips. The soft and gentle touch leaves your lips looking and feeling great all day.

I love all the shades, pity I cannot buy all of them because they are super awesome. The berry is one of my favourites; I think it matches my skin colour best.

Almay is a brand is known for their "smart shade" system, making it easier to find your perfect shade.
In my recent haul I purchased 2 of these Lip butters (Berry and red - Medium).

So how the Smart Shade system work is that all the lip colours are divided into skin tone categories and shade categories.(pic added)

These lip butters is so amazing. I find that they are rich, a melty balm that glides onto my lips and leaves behind colour, a high sheen, and a hydrating finish. These wear comfortably on my lips. It remains pleasantly moist through the day and feels very soothing on my dry lips. They have no fragrance or flavour

These new Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipsticks are the perfect way to get moisture and beautiful colour on my lips easily. Really loving this formula! Cannot wait to get my hands on the Medium Nude and Pink!!!

Its so light weight and the colour even differ depending on you skin tone. So you know exactly which colour will suit you. Its so buttery and literally the most moisture rich lipstick they you will fall in love with this lipstick. Price ranges but at Clicks I got mine for R 115. This lipstick is perfect for dry lip sufferers as this moisture rich lipstick helps.

It glides on, I like that. I'm more of a matte finish lipstick fan but the butter kiss lipstick gives you exactly what they say they are going to give you. The gloss isn't overpowering and it gives you a subtle tint with wonderful moisture.
Ive been using it constantly for a while now. Its something you really want on your lips after a few days of being exposed to harsh lipstainers.
The colour variations are limited but for a medium-fair indian skin tone the red medium shade showed well.

Such a lovely lip color it's like a lipstick but with built in moisturizer, and the colour isn't over powering so it's not like you have to look in a mirror to apply it cause it looks perfect every time even with a quick application. Love this cause it's all I have to carry in my hand bag! No need to carry separate lip color and lip-ice. This shade fits in perfect with my natural look,it's just enough color for my lips to stand out and the moisture makes my lip look plump.

How often does one hear of buttery soft lipsticks? Hardly ever. Most normal ones tend to bleed and crack when worn throughout the day but I was pleasantly pleased when I gave the Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss lipsticks a try.

Although they don't offer super pigmented colour, you'll love these because they are suitable for daytime wear. I love the packaging because you don't have to read the label to know which colour you're using. The capsule is the same colour as the bullet so this makes picking one out super simple.

As the name suggests, they are indeed super creamy and buttery! I simply adore this formula! My lips continued to feel moisturized throughout the day and I only had to reapply it once (after lunch of course).

Another hero product from Almay, this lipstick is intensely hydrating and applies smoothly and evenly. The colour is surprisingly sheer - it doesn't look that way in the tube. However, this makes it suitable for anytime wear. It's my favourite colour out of Nude Light and Nude Light Medium. You won't regret buying this product, so get out there and make it yours!

Once again, this lip butter is intensely moisturising and feels nourishing on the lips. The nude light/medium is less sheer than the nude-light, but it's still a beautifully flattering daytime shade. It has a slight pink tint to it rather than brown and would complement those with cool undertones perfectly. Once again, a purchase that is totally worthwhile!

I'm always excited to try out new lip crayons and tinted balms, as normal lipsticks dry out my lips. This lip balm is intensely moisturising. The texture is balmy and hydrating and the lipstick applies sheer. If you're looking for a flattering day-to-day lipstick, this one is for you! The balm has a high sheen and enhanced my natural lip colour for a beautiful laidback look. A great buy!
