This exfoliator is great because it is not harsh on the skin so it is suitable for many skin types. However I do recommend using it in combination with a loofer or body brush if looker for a deeper exfoliation. It doesn't lather too much which makes it effortless. It also leaves a noticeable glow and smells good too. I personally use it two to three times a week, more so on days where my skin is looking particularly dull but it is up to your discretion how often you use it, the nice thing is that it does not dry out your skin at all.
