I have used another brand's tissue oil before and always felt it sat mostly on top of my skin rather than nourishing it. My skin then would feel dryer and more itchy the next day. Counter acting the results you want from a tissue oil.
After a very stressful time work-wise, extra ordinary hot summer days with air conditioners running non stop and swimming pool water, my skin started suffering from dryness and had red angry patches of skin that was breaking out. Desperate I tried African Extracts Tissue oil as I new the previous oil I tried did not work and was so far quit happy with the other African Extract products I was using.
Immediately after applying the tissue oil I felt relieve on my skin. It absorbs quit well and does not sit on your skin. It took a couple of weeks for my skin to completely calm down but I could definitely see an improvement week by week. I now use it every night on top of the serum and night cream and still do get the occasional hormonal outbreak but nothing that clears up within a couple of days. My skin condition has improved so much since using the tissue oil I don't need to use foundation everyday and feel more confident going without a full face of makeup.
My whole family has started using it. My 2 boys do swimming as a sport and it works wonders for their dry skin and my husband uses it as an aftershave oil for his sensitive skin.
Great value and a small amount of tissue oils really goes a long way.
