I bought this on sale at clicks, unfortunately the texture is terrible but the silver Color is very eye popping. Because the texture is waxy it's hard to apply to my kids, and when I do manage to do that it creases terribly. Essence went horribly wrong with this one. If I find a make up product not to standard I always find a way to make it work for me but with this I can't do anything except throw it out.

The Essence Stay All Day Purple Eyeshadow comes in a neat little tub. I bought this eyeshadow on sale at Clicks for a bargain. Unfortunately, I did not like this eyeshadow. It has a thick waxy texture and the application process was messy. The colour looked terrible on me. I tried to save it by using it as a base for other eyeshadows until I gave up. Eventually it dried up and I had to throw it away.

By now everybody has seen the latest Maybelline eyeshadow called tattoo 24 hour stay. Well Essence has recreated the concept and created a more affordable version of cream eye shadow which retails for R40 where the Maybelline one retails for R99.

I was actually quite disappointed in this product because I expected it to be more user friendly. Firstly the cream is meant to be applied to eyelids using an eyeshadow brush but this eyeshadow cream messed up my eyeshadow brush so badly I ended up using my fingers to apply it.

The second problem was that this was long lasting eyeshadow but it looked really horrible and waxy on my eyelids. It also felt really heavy and I thought all my money would go to waste, so I used the product as a silver eye liner. Another epic fail, the eyeshadow smudged and looked horrible after two hours so I'm really not sure how you were meant to use this as an eyeshadow really.
