I got this lipstick after I took some empties to MAC as part of their Back2MAC programme. And its a great lipstick, that looks great on its own or with a Magenta liner. Its rich and goes on smoothly, I wish it could wear longer though.

P.S I went through my lipstick stash and found an exact dupe of this lipstick and the brand is Charlie "Berry Bold"... So on the days I dont reach for Up The Amp, I reach for my Berry Bold

One of my favorite lipsticks! Beautiful color, super creamy, and amazingly pigmented. When i don't feel like doing much with my eyes, i always reach for this lipstick. i already have another just in case i run out :)

The colour is such a pretty lavender/purple shade. Described by MAC as lavender violet.

It's a bright colour but not a in your face bright.

You could just put a swipe on for more toned down lips or layer it up for a more vibrant look. Lasts on lips quite well and when it wears off you get left with a pretty stained lip colour.

I think the price is quite reasonable. I just love MAC lipsticks in general. The smell is yummy too :).

I have worn this lipstick a number of times now and i really do love it. It deserves some love and I for one would repurchase tomorrow when i run out.

Quick Tip: Wear this shade with green eyeshadow and a hint of dark purple on your lashline and just watch how this lip colour pops :)
