Kryolan Professional Make-up is a German brand that's been around for decades. They are the brand used for the Miss Universe pageants. It's a common misconception that Kryolan's product is for 'professional use' only - as in for television, stage & film. However, it is used extensively for daily purposes by women around the world. Kryolan sponsored my lifestyle radio show in 2011 - '12 Weeks To A New You' - and have catered for many of my beauty needs since. I'm speaking about their eyeshadows now. You can choose from a range of eye colour palettes (5, 8, 10 or 20 colours), with a combination of different kinds of colours: Classic - with traditional, matt colours Fashion - with modern, matt colours Shading - with essential shading colours Glamour - with iridescent, pearl-effect colours

I enjoy experimenting with colour so was very excited to see how many Kryolan manufactures.
The colours are long-lasting (tried & tested out on the town on many an occasion), amazingly vibrant, & apply very smoothly. The texture is soft and silky - so none of that smearing on as if you're bricklaying & putting down the cement.
So if you're after an eye-catching eye that'll last a long summer day @ work, or a serious night out, give Kryolan a go.
NOTE: before applying ANY eyeshadow, you need to prime the lid first - this prevents the shadow becoming 'creased' or the oil of your lid disturbing the colour. So find yourself a reputable primer (I use a MAC paint pot colour the same tone as my skin, as it's quite a heavy, durable product unlikely to budge).
