This one is a tough nail polish to review in a clear and concise way, because I am still quite torn about whether or not I like this nail polish.
I'll start with what I don't like. When I applied the first coat I was horrified by the colour and the application. I understand that it is a sheer nail colour but the colour was very inconsistent and not pretty at all. It is recommended to apply 2 coats but it was only after the 3rd coat that I started to achieve the even coverage and look that I desired. The 4th coat made it a nice light even beige colour. If you have an hour or 2 to devout to simply applying nail polish, waiting at least 20mins between applying each coat - then by all means this is a great nail polish. I do not have the time to sit for hours waiting for nail polish to dry - by nature I am far too impatient plus working full time and studying part time, it's just not feasible for me.
Now the good....
Quality! This is Sally Hansen after all. So once you have applied the layers & top coat (You don't really need a top coat but I am use to using it) it lasts long and looks good for that entire time. The bottle design is fantastic! Very easy to grip and hold on to. I'd dropped a lot of other competitors' bottles because they aren't designed to be easily gripped. The non-slip rubbery ridge around the base of the lid helps so much during the application of the polish. The brush has rounded bristles which allows it to be easily flared, this does help while applying the many layers of nail polish.
All in all, I love the sally Hansen brand but I am just not a fan of this particular colour.
