Tip Top NailChic released its Limited Edition Glitter nail polish just ahead of the festive season. The Tip Top Rikki Brest '8 till Late' Glitter Range consists of blue, green, red, fuchsia, silver and purple glitters. The six new sparkly glitters are ultra long-wearing, glossy nail polishes. They are free of toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) - chemicals that are known to cause cancer and birth defects. Tip Top Nail Polish is also vegan friendly. Tip Top has many specific lines within the beauty industry, but it is best-known for nail care with solutions for every condition.

I'm completely besotted with the Rikki Brest '8 Till Late' glitter nail polish collection from Tip Top. I remember when I was a little girl my Mom brought me glitter nail polish back from a business trip and ever since then I have loved glitter on my nails. Granted it's not really for everyone, but I love the carefree, lightheartedness of it.
The nail polish itself has a high gloss that lasts very well, the glitter is the perfect size in that it gives great glitter coverage with one stroke and the glitter particles do not stand up and odd angles, they settle beautifully on the nail. For a more solid glitter look, you'll probably need 3 coats. I like to paint my nails with a colour before applying the glitter so that the colour shows through.
For a soft girlie look that lasts, I apply Accessorize Fudge and top it with the Tip Top silver glitter, sealing it off with Sally Hansen Acrylic nails top coat. Another great look is to pair the glitter with a matching shade of nail polish, such as red witht he red glitter. Oh, and black with the silver glitter looks really amazing because the glitter softens the edgy hardness that black often has. It gives your nails a nice dimension and playfulness.
I bought my colours at Clicks for R29.00 which was a real steal! On the shelf it said R39.00 but rang up cheaper and when I inquired the teller said it rang up as that so I can have them for that price, leaving me with a HUGE grin as I left the store.
My Tip: To easily remove the glitter, remove the nail polish after a warm bath or shower. The nails are softer allowing the glitter to come off a lot more easily. Else soaking your nails in nail polish remover for a minute penetrates the nail polish and the product comes of easily.
