1. Stop smoking! Yes, you’ve heard it before, but smoking robs your skin of oxygen, giving your skin a grey, dull look. Smoking also affects your skins elasticity and makes dark circles more prominent!
2. Drink lots of water! This ‘moisturisers’ as it where, from the inside out, and keeps skin plump and hydrated.
3. Limit your time spent in the sun. While we all like a bit of colour in our cheeks, try to keep out of the sun from midday to about 3pm…
The harsh rays of the sun not only break down collagen and elastin, therefore making skin appear less plump and firm, but it ALSO causes pigmentation and brown spots! Not pretty!
4. Moisturise regularly, not forgetting the neck and upper chest area, especially if you are wearing a low neck-line… a moisturiser with a good SPF of at least 15 or higher should suffice…
Don’t forget to do the back of your hands too, they also need sun protection. Remember, a ladies hands and neck often give her age away!
And, lastly …
5. Sleep! At least 8 hrs a night if you can! It’s the best beauty fix and it’s free!
