I was looking for a nice spray for summer, something to enhance and hold my natural curls without looking over-styled. I was immediately attracted to the bright pink packaging. It's very girly and the prices aren't bad.

First off the scent is disappointing. I read a few reviews and people said it smelt like a day at the beach. It smells like a very sweet perfume, no beachy or coconut scent in sight. Secondly the bottle says you need about 50 sprays on towel dried hair. It does state that you need to adjust for your hair length, but boy oh boy 50 sprays would be a nightmare. I only used about 15 sprays and that was way too much.

I tried a few different methods of using this spray and nothing gives the desired effect. I first tried drying my hair about 80% and then scrunching this product in. (big, bushy, frizzy mess). I then tried blow-drying my hair normally and scrunching a tiny bit in and clipping my hair back. (best one, a more layered look, but not wavy or curly.) I sprayed a few sprays on wet hair and used the diffuser attachment on the hairdryer. (worst one. frizzy and knotted).

It leaves my hair feeling extremely sticky and knotted. It has the most awful texture to it. It's certainly not soft to the touch. I use so little because even a small amount creates that overloaded hairspray effect. What I did notice was that it works better if I don't spray the product directly onto my hair. I spray into my hand and work it through my hair.

My sister also tried this and it created a very nice effect on her hair. She sprayed it on and let her hair dry naturally. She looked like a blonde beach babe. Very pretty. But she also didn't like the smell and she said her hair felt sticky and gross the next day. So it is possible to create the desired effect, but it didn't work for me.
