The Yes to Carrots C Me Shine Lip Glosses come in 6 different shades, all 95% organic and certified by the Natural Products Assocation (NPA). It is paraben and carmine free and the product comes in squeezy tubes that are easy to use and apply. These lip glosses will moisturise, revitalize and add that extra shine and brilliance to your lips. The lip gloss that I purchased was in “Playful Nude”, which is a beautiful nude shade.

I was so happy to get this at a clearance price as I generally like the brand. I had previously purchased this gloss in Flirty Pink which I liked so I decided to give this nude one a try too. Unfortunately it was disappointing. Because my lips are darker this gloss didn't apply evenly at all. I could still see "bald" spots on my lips where the gloss didn't cover them. I had to use my finger to spread for an even application. It wasn't the best result but I could live with that for the price but straight after I applied I noticed that it forms the dreadly white line on the inside of my lips (the one you discover in the mirror with absolut horror after having just had a long conversation with someone LOL). I first thought I might have applied the gloss too thickly but eventually the line appeared every time despite applying it very thinly. That was a deal breaker for me so I gave this gloss away. I just can't take the embarassement of the possibility of walking around with a white line in my mouth.

Like the other Y2C lipgloss that I bought – Rose Bliss – this one is also super minty (smell and sensation) and leaves your lips with a “cool” effect. This lipgloss like the other that I bought is also moisturising, non-sticky and gives your lips a beautiful glossy look. “Playful Nude” in the packaging looks like it has a very subtle shimmer, but when applied on the lips no shimmers are visible, which I like because I feel that “nude” colours should be nude. This is probably one of my favourite lip glosses to apply when I head out. It looks amazing on top of nude lipsticks, or even pink lipsticks when you want to tone the colour down. This lipgloss is also super buildable, in my opinion it is quite pigmented for a lipgloss. When I’m too lazy to reapply lipstick, I just apply a bit more of this lipgloss and it gives your lips a nude pigment.
