If you love a quick wash day, healthy moisturised frizz free hair and a beautiful lingering scent in your hair then you’ll love this range. I got so many compliments on my hair and how good I smell.

The nozzle on the Miracle shampoo was a highlight for me as it deposited the product right to the roots of my hair and I did not have to section my hair which I loved. I got a full lather on my second wash and it lathered really well so a little bit goes a long way. It didn’t strip my hair dry which I appreciated.

The conditioner and Afro Food Moisturising Butter are my favourite product from the range. My hair gets really tangled during washes and the slip from the conditioner made sectioning and comb throughs very pleasant. My hair was soft and felt well nourished after use. The moisturising butter smells so divine and moisturised my hair so well. My highly porous hair needs constant reapplication every other day but I made it to day 6 with hydrated hair.

The curl activator does keep a strong hold on my curls, which lasted 2 days and my curl definition was top tier. I noticed that after a few days of constant reapplication of the gel there was build up forming but a quick spray of water quickly fixed that. And the build up sort of melted away.

Overall this range is very easy to use, I highly recommend this range for anyone with dry hair and suffer from hair breakage. I can’t wait to repurchase!!

The Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Range is amazing. It works well on my type 3c/4a hair. This range is a must for winter. My curls were left hydrated and defined for a long period of time and my scalp felt clean. I love the Shampoo because of the nozzle which goes directly onto the scalp, but more importantly the ingredients in the shampoo are so beneficial and it is clarifying and moisturising at the same time. The water to foam shampoo was very easy to apply because of the nossle,it didn’t strip my hair dry but left it feeling moisturised,shiny and clean at the same time. I’ve been using the Au Naturale Range from Dark and Lovely for a week now, and here’s my authentic experience:

The Wash Day Miracle to Foam Shampoo did a great job of leaving my hair clean and moisturized. The product’s slip made detangling my hair easier. However, I still needed to use a rat tail comb and rinse my hair with apple cider vinegar beforehand to remove flakes, as the shampoo alone wasn’t enough for that.

Next, the Knot-Out Detangling Conditioner worked well as a rinse-out and detangling conditioner. However, it didn’t provide the level of moisture my hair needs and dried out quicker than expected.

The Afro Food Moisturizing Butter also fell short for me. Despite applying it generously and thoroughly saturating my hair, it left my hair feeling dry.

On a positive note, the Curl Power Curl Activator Gel impressed me. I loved how lightweight and flexible it was when styling my hair, providing hold without any crunchiness.

Overall, while some of the products didn’t fully meet my expectations in terms of moisture, they performed well in other areas, particularly in detangling and styling. Upon doing my research on the ingredients in the products, I noticed that all the ingredients in the products were suitably picked to combat winter hair struggles, such as dryness and breakage. The ingredients all had moisturising, hydrating, anti-breakage, anti-dandruff properties that all worked well to strengthen the hair. The products definitely hydrated my hair and left it super shiny. I didn’t particularly enjoy using the Afro Food Afro-Moisturising Butter for my wash-and-go. However, the Curl Power Curl Activator Jelly compensated on my wash-and-go. I do prefer using the range for my protective hair styles as there is definitely more retention of hydration, moisture and shine in my protective hairstyle. The scents of the products were fresh and divine.

The products are extremely easy to use . I love the wash day miracle shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling clean & it truly is such an amazing formula. The two products of the range that stands out for me is the Afro food & curl power. The Afro food leaves my hair feeling nourished. The curl power has a light weight to it with the best results. I’m definitely re purchasing these products as it leaves my hair feeling healthy and cared for .

1. The wash day miracle had my scalp feeling so clean and I didn’t suffer any itching afterwards being that I am a person with a sensitive scalp. The nozzle was so helpful in helping me have access to my scalp when washing.
2. Knot out conditioner detangled my really coiled 4c hair with ease, you just have to use a lot of it. There was stretch to my hair immediately post wash.
3. Afro food moisturising butter kept my hair so hydrated and I could use it daily and just keep my hair in twists, it made styling so much easier because my hair felt so soft.
4. Curl power jelly works so well on natural hair which I find so hard to tame with gels, it didn’t cause flakes or a gel buildup. I could do many different hairstyles using it and gave my hair these beautiful waves.
From my experience the products are amazing and work really well together which is so important. They also leave your hair smelling so good
