its punted as a must have with good reason
It moisturises brightens and makes your skin youthful and radiant.
Clarins is on promo now.....go buy it
Its a very versatile product and great for sensitive skin too!
I've used this since it first came out and I love it. I also have the one for eyes which is divine as well.
my only issue with it is that it sometimes kind of peels/flakes. No idea why but it's horrible!
But it definitely brightens the skin, smooths it out, masks imperfections and dark circles and generally just gives you a healthy glow.
I guess nowadays there's the BB creams and primers that do much the same thing - will still stick with my Beauty Flash Balm!
I've also tried mixing a tiny bit of foundation with a small blob of it and making a sort of tinted moisturiser with it. Works beautifully.
It feels really good on the skin, it's good quality (of course, it's Clarins)... but it doesn't do anything for me. Maybe I am blessed with a naturally dewy skin, very fair and pretty much blemish-free, so there isn't much to cover, but...maybe I expected something more (too much?).
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm has been in my eyes a 'Not must have', but a Treatment Product - a product you spoil yourself with.. Just because you can. But then after my first spoil... I couldnt live without it. It became a must have.
Thanks to it's reasonable price @R365.00 (even for a Clarins Product) I can indulge in my treat often enough. And it last for at least 2 - 3 months!
The morning I found it I was in a state: I had woken up late ( again .....but then again it's not really late when I choose to arrive at work an hour early ), I shaved my legs but couldn't find my usual cream and was digging in my shelving thingy to find an alternative ( which I did ) and found this product.
As I looked like a mess, hardly any sleep ( I will find a way to kill the ppl down stairs ! ), I decided to try it. Read the instructions ( lightly apply, do not rub, then apply foundation and make-up as usual ) and proceded to finish applying make-up. Didn't look to closely at mirror - too scared plus no coffee in system and it would be too much to handle so early ( I am not a morning person ! ) and hurried downstairs to grab my things before heading out the front door.
My Fiance, who was dropping me off at work, commented in the car that I looked quite refreshed even though we had very little sleep ( and no, unfortunately not for the reasons you are thinking - tsk: dirty mind you have ! ). At first I though he was being sarcastic and at this point I might of sworn at him or called him a name ( I am not joking about the morning thing.....I need coffee to become human again ).
I arrived at work, had my strong jug of coffee, settled in and started feeling human. I was telling someone at work how tired I was and discussing ways to kill the neighbours ( kinda kidding ) and they told me I didn't look tired. When I checked in my compact my eyes looked fine, even though they didn't feel it.
Lets just say I made a phone call to my Finace to apologise.
Unfortunately, with the state my skin is in at the moment, I can't forgo foundation which means I can't wear this on its own. However, when I do use foundation on top, this broduct balls up and starts rolling off as you are applying the foundation. Now that is a big no-no for me no matter how well rested I would look. It is just frustrating! As I can't look past that, I cannot recommend it just because of the brightening effect!
