Absolutely loved this product. I have been trying to put into words what my skin is going through ever since I started using it. It is the best thing I have ever applied to my skin. Everything it promises it delivers. I honestly believe that I have found the product that speaks my skin's language. I used to have very dry heels. It didn't matter how many times I moisturised them they would look ashy. I don't have that problem anymore. Even my baby bump loves the biogel. It's always popping. I Absolutely love this gel !My skin is usually dry but since I have been using the BioOil Dry skin gel my skin has been nourished and soft like never before . This was an absolutely amazing product to use,It truly does work wonders.The product do last for a very long on the skin therefore I never have to apply a lot of product. Season changes always means I'd constantly be forced to change my products as my skin would become extremely dry, itchy and flaky. At first I was extremely skeptical about giving Bio Oil Dry Skin Gel a shot, but my assumptions about the product were completely wrong. THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING!!

It's been a month since I have been using the BioOil Dry skin gel and it has changed my skin for the better. As a person who suffers from eczema, I have a few selection of products that I can use and I'm also afraid to dry new products incase my skin reacts badly to the product. But since I have been using the BioOil Dry Skin gel, I haven't been having any problems with my skin.
My skin is usually dry and flacky at times but since I have been using the BioOil Dry skin gel, my skin has been nourished and softer than before.
As being a student, I find it being a bit pricey but since I don't need much product to moisturize my body, you do get value for your money and I wouldn't mind spending that amount because of the effectiveness of the product.
How my skin looks and feel is absolutely incredible and I will be continuing using the BioOil Dry Skin Gel. I am all for a natural beautiful skin glow and the BioOil Dry Skin Gel does bring that.

This was an absolutely amazing product to use! It truly does work wonders. My dry skin was smoothed and softened so quickly. The product lasts very long on your skin and you really dont require a lot of product on application. It smells clean and fresh and comes in a cutre pink colour. Its nice and thin to the touch so its doesnt feel thick when you smooth it over your skin. It literally leaves a beautiful glow on your skin thats noticeable and healthy looking. Defintely a summer must-have product!

I've been using the new bio oil dry skin gel for the past week now and this is my review.
1. I love the packaging. It's simple, clean and effective. Easy to open and close and small enough to fit perfectly even when traveling.
2. The smell.
I love how the gel smells. If you've used bio oil- the oil- before and enjoyed the smell, you'll love this because it smells EXACTLY like the oil.
3. Applying the product is easy as the gel is light to the touch. I must add though that once you put the gel on your skin you feel extremely hot, as you would if you were applying the oil.
The gel also takes a while to absorb, thus making it easy to transfer onto clothes if you're in a hurry.
Overall, being a young woman who stuggles with extremely dry skin, I am so satisfied with this gel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I suffered from extremely ashy skin (especially elbows and legs) and i have used several products to try and solve this major problem ( APPLYING LOTION IS A FULL TIME JOB)
With the help of BB and Bio Oil, I recently started using this product and was super excited to put it to the test however, based on previous experience with other products, didn't get my hopes up too high! LITTLE DID I KNOW [and have to use haha (you don't have to use more than a bit on your finger)] that this product instantly help me glow and even when it was raining, it left me feeling like I wanted to hit the beaches all over Cape Town. I have been a person who has used Bio-Oil products almost my entire teen life, and now into my adult life, the needs of my skin have changed... My skin is dry and I need something that is highly hydrating and moisturizing to my skin. The Bio-Oil dry skin gel, is just that. A Gel that moisturizes and penetrates into your skin. The baby pink hue of the gel is really pretty as it also has a transparent look to it. The feel is “sticky” and cool. At first when the gel is applied to your skin, it leave an immediate radiant glow, it still however has an oily residue until it is completely absorbed into your skin. For me personally, the only quality this gel lacks is the feel that a body lotion or cream has, which is that thick, creamy application where you feel your skin is deeply moisturizer not just radiant. I would personally use the bio oil gel as an “instant radiance booster” more than my “only” form of moisturizing my skin.
I do love the product, and so do my friends and family. I would personally apply the gel over my body cream once that has completely absorbed into my skin.

As a huge fan of post bath/shower oils, I thought the dry skin gel would be right up my alley. Turns out that the gel experience is quite different. Different in a good way, since results that came with its use were totally unexpected. I actually didn’t expect it to moisturize my skin the way it has. The gel sank right into my skin and kept it conditioned throughout each day. The extent to which it kept my skin smooth and supple is decent and for that reason I give it a 3. The gel did give a radiant glow but lacked that ‘buttery’ feel creams are known for. So all in all, does the gel deliver on it’s promise to help treat dry skin? Partly. Is this the holy grail of dry skin treatments out there on the market? Unfortunately no. I will say that I did not love the greasy feel it has upon application even though this does go away once the product has been absorbed. On the other hand, I loved it’s pink hue, it’s texture while still in the jar and not necessarily on my skin and that Bio Oil fragrance I’ve grown to know and love. This is one of those products everyone just has to try themselves to see how they get on with it. Our preferences and experiences are too vastly different for one to say that this is the one product every girl must/mustn’t have. The dry skin gel is worth a try for all dry skin sufferers out there! ?

After trialing the Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel for 4 weeks, I have some definite final thoughts - especially since I was trailing this alongside 2 other body lotions that are also for dry skin. My thoughts?
Texture - I'm not the biggest fan of gel products for my body mainly because of how greasy they can become. This product was no exception. It is a little greasy after application, so you do need to wait a while before the product is absorbed into your skin. Otherwise, it can stain delicate clothing or you could get finger marks on objects and surfaces.
Effectiveness - Yes, this is actually really good at relieving my dry skin! It's perfect for right after you've taken a shower and your pores are a litte more open to absorb the product a little better. It also gives you a lovely glow, which I love for when I'm going out and wearing shorts - my legs looked amazing with this gel applied!
Price - whilst I would repurchase this, there are other products that I would buy over this one. I don't think this is something that I see myself consistently using on a day-to-day basis; more for 'every now and then'. But in terms of its price, it is value for money as I see the 200ml tub lasting me fore 3+ months.

It left me way too oily, and shiny, even with a little but didn't provide the moisture I needed for affected areas.
One plus is that it doesn't burn on open wounds although it does create some unwanted redness that doesn't go away.

Dry skin has always been a major concern for me! Since summer is right here I was super excited to get my skin ready.
My biggest ‘test zone’ was my feet during this little trial in hopes that it would really keep my feet and legs of cause super soft and moisturized. The bio-oil has exceeded my expectations and I do not start my day without using my bio oil dry skin gel.
Another thing I love about this product asides from its (cute pink colour) is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or disappear after a few hours. My skin feels just as good at the end of day as it did during my morning routine.
It has definitely become one of my essentials. I’ll keep repurchasing this for sure!

So I've been seeing the @biooil_za Dry skin gel going around and was very excited to try it out when @beauty_bulletin send it and I've been using it for 3 weeks. Here is my thoughts on the @biooil_za Dry skin gel.
Since I have a very dry skin I love that a little goes a long way and very easy to apply on my body. It also has a very silk/velvety texture. Unfortunately it was only able to moisturize my skin for a little while and there after my skin would be ashy and must re-apply again. Also tends to be greasy and the packaging is so cute but doesn't hold the product inside, oil tends to drip if placed side way. Definitely not good for when your traveling as it would be so messy.
I also really lovd the way it feels on my skin right after applying it and realized it feels even better when the skin is lightly damp.

I Really enjoyed this product, it has this amazing delicate smell that took me by surprise as I am very sensitive to strong smelling cosmetics, I loved the texture its warm & non sticky so you don't have to rub your hands together to warm it up before applying it and you don't have to wash your hands afterwards as it doesn't colour or leave a sticky residue on your hands. it quickly absorbs to your skin and leaves a satin finish that it not greasy at all, but most importantly it does what it claims to do, my skin has never been softer and the scaly grey skin on my feet is gone I am glowing all the way to summer, I wish I had known about this in winter and during the time I was pregnant. I am hooked. I love everything about this well though skin moisturiser!

The Dry Skin Gel is a really good product. It moisturizes your skin. The gel penetrates into your skin which helps with decreasing the appearance of scars. The only downfall about it is that it leaves you very oily and the smell isn't as pleasant.

So for the past few weeks I have been using the dry skin gel. The experience has been amazing and I fell in love with everything about it. from the packaging of the product to the pink color of the gel, and more especially its neutral scent.

I have been using the dry skin gel for about 3 weeks now and I i am thoroughly impressed by the effectiveness of the product. I’ve been using the new bio-oil dry skin gel for about 1 month now and my skin is visibly less dull and more moisturized, I love how a little goes a long way meaning that the product lasts me for longer. It’s gel based thus application is smoother and faster, its baby pink colour is just a bonus for me as I LOVE EVERYTHING PINK? One thing which I don’t mind but just want to put out there is that the gel does have a medicinal smell, it’s not a very strong smell but it is noticeable. Other than that, I love it!?

I have to admit, I'm always cynical about products that promises to "banish" dry skin. Over the years I've tried different products that provided temporary relief for my skin but no lasting results. Until Bio Oil dry skin gel. Firstly, their approach is different as they looked at what your skin NEED and how they could cater to that need and they've succeeded. For a product that has the price it does, Bio Oil could invest in a more sustainable way to package their products. I would suggest glass since plastic containers aren't environmentally friendly or sustainable.
The product works to a point. I believe that the more natural the product then the more the product works. ie. Beeswax or Aloe vera is great for the skin and helps for any skin condition.
Bio Oil could simplify their ingredients so that the product has more natural ingredients that consumers can understand and actually pronounce.
I would recommend that people try this product but to also be aware of the negatives.

I have been using Bio-Oil's Dry Skin Gel for a little over 4 weeks now - and my skin has never felt more soft, supple, hydrated and healthy! Within a short period of regular use, I noted a vast improvement in the texture and appearance of my skin. Relocating from the humid coast to dry Johannesburg wreaked havoc on my skin, however, Bio-Oil's Dry Skin Gel was able to restore my 'glow' within a short 4 week period.

I’ve been using this gel for a little over 4 weeks now and I am OBSESSED! I love it and I’ll continue using it.
It smells good and the first thing you realize when you put it on is how good it feels on your body and then of course you also realize how it makes your skin glow. I can definitely feel and see that this gel is made up of 97% skin nourishing oils because my skin is glowing.
What I like the most about this gel is that I only have to apply it once and I’m good for the day. No cracks and no dry skin. The first day I put on the gel I was very unhappy with how oily my hands were. The gel transferred to everything that I would hold. My bag, clothes, paper etc but I soon realized that I was used to putting on a lot of lotion and cream so thats what I did with the gel. A little goes a long way with this gel so I started using it in moderation and I’ve been happy ever since. I was very excited about putting it on that I may have forgotten to read the instructions first.
Using it on my hands is still weird (in the BEST away ever) because I’m used to always applying hand cream on my hands throughout the day because my hands get dry quickly so I’m still getting used to only applying it after I wash my hands. How cool is that? I’m glad I don’t have to constantly reapply the gel throughout the day.

I’ve been using this gel for a little over 4 weeks now and I am OBSESSED! I love it and I’ll continue using it.
It smells good and the first thing you realize when you put it on is how good it feels on your body and then of course you also realize how it makes your skin glow. I can definitely feel and see that this gel is made up of 97% skin nourishing oils because my skin is glowing.
What I like the most about this gel is that I only have to apply it once and I’m good for the day. No cracks and no dry skin. The first day I put on the gel I was very unhappy with how oily my hands were. The gel transferred to everything that I would hold. My bag, clothes, paper etc but I soon realized that I was used to putting on a lot of lotion and cream so thats what I did with the gel. A little goes a long way with this gel so I started using it in moderation and I’ve been happy ever since. I've completed 3 weeks of using this product and my skin is softer now. The product is very effective from the first time using it. No more ashy skin. I love the glow that it gives my skin. However, It's not effective on my hands and feet as the texture is different and can't absorb the gel.
