The Afircan Extract classic range has been my go to in skincare for over a year.
This is definitely suitable for all skin types, normal skin. I would suggest other products in the range where it comes to acne prone skin.
The cream is rich in texture and smells amazing, not an overwhelming Rooibos smell. I adore that it has a SPF just for extra protection.
The day cream left my skin feeling soft and hydrated, definitely well spent

I actually have a feeling that Rooibos understand African skin and works perfect for my skin.
I bought it off Takealot on Black Friday, so i got t cheaper than the actual price, and it wasn't for me but as a gift for my mother.
I first tried it on her and the results were brilliant so I ended up keeping it for myself and buying another set for my mum.
My mum and I we both loved it, and would happily invest in it again.

Absolutely loved this product and would highly recommend it.
As a very loyal brand consumer, I was very reluctant on trying a new product on my skin: considering the fact that i have very sensitive skin. I was truly surprised on how well my skin responded to this product and how it enhanced my natural glow and skin tone. It truly left my skin hydrated and glowing in a matter of two weeks. I loved the smell of the toner and the cleansing lotion. They had such beneficial properties that don't harm your skin or cause any irritations or stingy feeling. My ultimate favorite was the tissue oil product which is suitable for removing stretch marks, evening out your skin and eliminating any marks on your body. All products are reasonably priced at around R60-R65 rand.
I hope you are encouraged to try out this product and if you do: please hashtag #RooibosLovesSkin on social media platforms to share your experience with me.

I am so grateful that I was able to test out the Classic Range. I had used African Extracts before, a different range which contained facial wipes and I was overjoyed when this campaign opened up.
1. African Extracts Refreshing Toner:
Absolutely love the clean and rooibos infused smell of the product. The toner does not contain alcohol which tends to dry out the skin and leave my skin feeling irritated and dry. I love how moisturizing the toner was on my skin and would definitely recommend this one for all the ladies out there battling with combination skin like I am.
2. African Extracts Day Cream:
Convenient enough to carry around in your handbag if your skin ever tends to dry out due to the weather or dry skin in general. It has SPF15 so I don't need to worry about my skin being damaged when I go to university during the warmer days approaching.
3. African Extracts Soothing Lotion:
Has an amazing smell and does not leave my skin feeling oily whatsoever. I never have to worry about my skin being dry before I go to bed because this has definitely changed my skin for the better.
4. African Extracts Rooibos Tissue Oil:
Was not too keen on the smell of it at first but it didn't matter because I applied this to my stretchmarks on my thighs and on my chest. Loved that it made my dark red stretch marks visibly lighter and that it's one less thing I have to worry about with bikini season approaching!
Skin Loves Rooibos x
Please feel free to watch my video review, if you do watch it please thumbs it up and feel free to message me any questions on the Beauty Bulletin website.

Having great skin is just not a luxury any more but A necessity I think for most of us who are struggling with our skin from our teen years to young adult woman can relate to one another especially those of us who struggled alot with our skin because of eczema and skin conditions.I'd say for me for most of my teen years because I wasn't familiar with what worked for me I tried a whole lot of products that just made my skin much more susceptible to Burns and sensitivity .
Having a product of that is infused with Rooibos is not only going to calm your skin but in the long run help your skin get back the radiance & the Ph level the nutrients and vitamins that you had when you were much younger and I think it's important to have to rely on factors that are from nature that can give your skin the best dose of nourishment and care. I have in the past and still rate the african extracts range a 9/10 in fact a whopping 10 (bragging rights) lt works for me tried and tested ,i have had hyper pigmentation and eczema in the past my skin took a total 360 and repaired amazingly with this range it will work for other women hands down , I recommend these products because it's affordable and great value for money overall it does what it claims to di it treats and heals the skin in the deepest layers over time. I will continue to use the range as it is the only range that's agreeing with my skin making me feel better about myself boosting my confidence and self esteem im a better person only because I feel like a million bucks thank you African Extracts!

I was chosen to be one of the influencers to try out this range of the African Extracts Rooibos and thank you BB for the opportunity.
I was so excited I put them to the test the same day. The one thing that stands out for me is the Cleansing lotion. I have been pumping it day in and out. I am not one to follow the instructions written at the back to the t, besides using it twice a day. I will go ahead with the regimen and explain in detail how I felt about the individual products afterwards.
Wash routine
I would apply the lotion on my face, like I am lathering it up and leave it for a few seconds and the rinse it off with warm water. My skin is very sensitive, so I am not a fan of wiping off with cotton wool or anything. Then I would pat it dry (damp rather) and then use the Classic Toner which will be at night and on areas I feel I need it. I would then apply the Classis Tissue Oil, just one squirt and rub it on my skin until absorbed. At night I finish off with my shea butter as they do not have a night cream and then in the morning I would apply the Classic Day Cream in circular motions like they suggest.
Now that you get the gist here is my breakdown of each product.
Classic Cleansing Lotion
It smells amazing. I think they all smell the same except the tissue oil. It feels like a lotion, consistency of a lotion and texture. It applies well, considering I smeared it on my face lol. It does not dry out at all and rinses off well as well as cleanses to my surprise. I love this.
Classic Toner
I am not a toner fan as my skin dries out very quickly yet it is oily. It smells the same as the lotion, does not dry out the skin or leave it feeling tight like they say. I would change the packaging of both the bottles (lotion and toner) because of screwing the top on and off, sometimes I have lotion all over my hands it would be nice to just pop it back. That is the only set back I have thus far.
Classic Day Cream SPF
I am not sure how I feel about this one lol. Well I like the fact that it does not make my skin shiny and does not feel heavy. So it is not greasy. The cream is a bit on the thick side but applies well and smells like the other two. I like the packaging as it gives control over how much you can squeeze out.
Classic Tissue Oil
Another of my favourite in this range, comes second after the lotion. I love tissue oils and if it moisturises my skin without grease then it is a keep. That is exactly what I got from this oil. When you read the box, they tell you that it can used for the whole body from head to toe and I have been doing that. I have been using it to seal my hair and oil my scalp and moisturise my body! The consistency is a bit thick for my liking but I get by with it. I like the herbal scent and the pump /spray bottle, makes life easy. I would definitely stock this for the price.
Overall I have enjoyed using these products, my skin feels more plump and hydrated. I wish I had this throughout winter it would be a good regimen minus the toner, the toner for me is more useful in summer. I also noticed that my blackheads were coming out which I doubted would happen. Marks wise, I have not noticed a difference maybe in the long run I will. I like the ingredients in all of the products, no parabens or mineral oil, this meant a lot to me. This is a good example that products in the same range are formulated to work together. Nothing beats these prices, especially the tissue oil, so the pocket won’t get hurt here.
I only got to test this products for less than 2 weeks so I don't have much comparison to make.
Will be posting pictures later on and a video.

Having combination skin (a dry area between my eyebrows and on my chin and oily forehead and cheeks), the classic range from African Extracts was a great choice for me. The classic range is very moisturizing, yet doesn't leave an oily residue on your skin and allows for makeup to be applied over the products, without the makeup sliding or creasing (with the use of a primer of course).
The prices for the products I received are as follows:
- African Extracts Rooibos Soothing Cleansing Lotion R56.99
This cleanses your skin and is in a thick creamy formula, that is to be massaged into your skin and then wiped off with a cotton pan or a facecloth. I also found this cleaner very effective at removing makeup.
- African Extracts Rooibos Refreshing Toner R56.99
The toner is a water formula that is applied all over the face using a cotton pad. The toner is to help correct problems in complexion.
- African Extracts Rooibos Day Cream SPF 15 R62.99
The day cream is a moisturizer with an SPF of 15. It is a thick formula where a little goes a long way.
- African Extracts Rooibos Tissue Oil R62.99
The tissue oil is a water oily formula, but it absorbs into the skin very well if rubbed in for a duration of time. I even applied the tissue oil to my hair tips once fresh out the shower, which is supposed to help with damaged and dry hair.

Benefits for skin:
I only used these products for 7 days, so there wasn't a very big comparable difference to my skin, and at the moment I don't have many problem areas on my skin. My skin was softer after the first use, which was really nice. I also noticed that the dry areas between my eyebrows and on my chin, are now hydrated and not flaking like they used to do. The smaller pimples on my skin are gone too and my skin appears smoother and easier to apply makeup, without it looking cakey.
I recommend trying out the product for yourself. I initially got about 2 break outs after trying the product, which doesn't mean that the product isn't working, it means that the product is working and getting the gunk out under your skin, so don't let that scare you into not using a product further (unless you get a rash or hectic breakouts...the maybe you should stop).
The range is also cruelty free! Which is amazing!
The products can be found at Dischem and Clicks stores.

I grew up, like most South Africans, drinking rooibos tea. My fondest memory is my mom bringing me rooibos tea and toast in bed when I stayed home sick. To this day, the minute I feel a cold coming on, I make myself rooibos tea with lemon and honey.
African Extracts have harnessed the power of rooibos, which is a naturally powerful antioxidant, in their skincare range. Rooibos is naturally high in minerals such as zinc and is loaded with phytonutrients, which are naturally occurring nutrients with extraordinary healing properties found in plants. 'Phytonutrients' is the word on everyone's lips in skincare.
Not only is African Extracts rooibos naturally powerful thanks to the properties of rooibos, but it's also cruelty-free and honestly priced. Which means when you choose African Extracts Rooibos you are making the right choice for your skin, for the animals, and for local communities. Prices range from just R18,00 to R360,00 making these products affordable for anyone.
I have been using the Classic Range for the last few weeks and my two standout favorite products are:
African Extracts Rooibos Classic Refreshing Toner
Perfect for popping into my gym bag and refreshing my face after a workout. I use this in the morning and at night post-cleansing, and after a workout.
African Extracts Rooibos Classic Tissue Oil
Great as a nightly facial oil treatment to hydrate dry skin, and I love the convenient spray nozzle (no more oily hands after applying oil, spray directly onto the area).
Some of the other products I've been using from this range:
African Extracts Rooibos Classic Soothing Cleansing Lotion
I love this cleanser because; its mild, softly fragranced, and leaves my skin feeling plump and hydrated, I use it twice daily.
African Extracts Rooibos Classic Day Cream SPF 15
The day cream has all-important SPF protection and anti-ageing properties thanks to vitamin C and bio-active rooibos.

I've tried African Extracts Rooibos products before and something that stuck with me was the smell. It smells clean and fresh and has your skin begging for more.
My favourite product out of the Classic Care range is the tissue oil. I used about 8 pumps and massaged it using circular motions into my scalp. It didn't make my hair greasy and I wasn't afraid to sleep with it in my hair either. This could be because of the active ingredient grape seed oil which is non-comedogenic which is just a fancy word for "it won't clog your pores". So having the oil rub on my pillow during the night wasn't an issue. I also used it on my stretch marks. I really recommend this product as apposed to normal tissue oils this one in particular has so many vital essential oils that your body needs + Rooibos and it's only R65. With this product a little goes a long way.
The toner is another favourite. I don't go to bed without toning and this toner smells amazing. With active Ingredients such as Witch Hazel ,which is a natural acne fighter, and green rooibos you cannot go wrong with this product. Costing you only R60.
The day cream is a must have this summer. It's light and has SPF 15. However, just remember to add extra SPF for extra coverage. This retails for R65.
The skin care lotion is basically a makeup remover and it does it's job leaving your skin feeling moisturised. For only R60.
These are all products that every woman should have in their daily skincare routine. It's really affordable and worth a try. Find these products at your nearest Dischem and Clicks store. Use the hashtag #SkinLovesRooibos on social media with your results and reviews on these products.

Ok guys so I generally opt to purchase slightly pricey skin care products cause I've always believed they will offer better quality, I was surprised when using this affordable skin care range that offered amazing quality and value for my money.
Classic skin care lotion is so soothing and soft on face, I use it after washing my face to sometimes remove any excess makeup residue left.
The Classic toner is honestly the best cause it doesn't give me the burning sensation due to having no alcohol added.
Classic day cream is a dream to apply and isn't too heavy on the skin nor is it greasy which is just great for my combination skin type.
The tissue oil has to be my fav, specially cause of the packaging! I absolutely love the spray packaging cause it minimizes waste of the product and doesn't leave you feeling greasy. I just love how it has many uses and not just for your face. Using it on my thighs now and slowly seeing results of decreasing appearance of stretch marks.
At just R250 for the range, no complaints from me :)

I won't lie, I can be a bit of a skincare snob. I often think that products that are more affordably priced can tend to be lower on the scale of quality than products that come with a higher price tag - why else would they cost more??
I was, however, SO impressed with the African Extracts Rooibos Classic range of products.
The cleanser was a milky cream, and helped to remove makeup exceptionally well (I do take my makeup off with a micellar water first, but even if I went in with this and did a double cleanse, all of my makeup came off). It is very soothing to use, and would be especially good for dry and/or sensitive skins.
The toner is alcohol free, so isn't even the slightest bit drying to my skin, yet it effectively removes any left over makeup or cleanser. I think I'm also going to decant some of the toner into a little spray bottle and keep it in my handbag - can you imagine how nice it could be as a hydrating spritz during the hot summer months?
The day cream is lovely and hydrating, yet not at all greasy. It sank into my skin fast and left it soft and nourished, but not sticky. My makeup stayed put on it very well too (for me, the biggest pro for the cream, as I battle with certain day creams when wearing makeup!). The added bonus of an SPF 15 is great, although I do prefer a higher SPF in the mornings.
The tissue oil was probably my absolute favourite of the bunch. There are so many ways to use it! I used it at night as a treatment facial oil (any dry patches were softer and almost gone in the morning, and it helped heal up some old marks from spots). I added it to a bath one evening when I'd had a long day, and it soothed my skin and left it moisturised enough that I didn't need to apply body lotion. I've also massaged it into any scars I have (I had surgery this year, and so I have some fresher scars that need help healing). It could also work wonders for stretch marks and any other very dry patches! I like that the oil wasn't super greasy and sticky, and that it sank in relatively quickly too.
Overall, I'll definitely keep these products on my repurchase list - they're affordable and work exceptionally well! I've already recommended a couple of them to friends!

I LOVE this range of skincare! I have very sensitive skin and my skin just does not accommodate a lot of brands...sometimes even the "for sensitive skin" ones leave me in pain. I tried this range out of a desperate need to look after myself without hurting the bank or even worst, my face. And I was pleasantly surprised.
It is gentle enough for my very sensitive skin and is a Proudly South African product which is a bonus. The price tag is great for how much product you get. I don't get excessively dry after cleansing so I can even skip the moisturizer if I really had to which is impossible if you have my skin.
They have a full range of all the products you might need plus a few extra "nice to have"ones. I have not stopped using these products since I tried it for the 1st time early last year. Rooibos is a South African Loved favorite for a reason and my soft skin, is all the proof I need.
