Cipria Milano Eyeshadow

Cipria Milano is a makeup brand that's new to South Africa. I was excited (as always) to play with an eyeshadow that I'd never had any experience with. I have the shade 556 which is a deep plum shade with a fine shimmer - I thought it would be perfect as an alternative to the traditional black smoky eye.

I have to say that I am exceptionally impressed with the quality of this shadow. The feeling is buttery and soft, making it a dream to blend out. There was no 'overspray' (which is a fine spray of shimmer brands sometimes use to make their products look better than they are; essence does this a lot), and the pigment is STRONG. I've included a GIF in pretty bad lighting but you can still see that pigment coming through! I love the colour as well but I guess that's all down to personal preference.

Another aspect worth mentioning is that the pans of shadow are huge. If you bought neutrals you could easily use them to contour with as you get so much product with each purchase. I doubt I will ever run out of this colour!
