Mousse me baby! I am living for this root lift foam aka mousse, it's basically a boob-job for my hair. I find that when applied to wet roots, it gives such great life and honey, who doesn't need a little bit of a lift every now and then. My hair is pretty fine so I work it through the rest of my hair it looks like I've got thick, lush, healthy hair.

This is such a great product and its also really affordable, when using this on my hair I apply about two pumps to my towel dried hair before blow drying and it really does make my hair look and feel more smooth. my spilt ends are also less visible.I think if you use this product in conjunction with the other full repair range your hair will really look and feel great. Overall i was impressed with this product and would recommend it to others.

PACKAGING:
Product is very clearly indicated
No funny caps or lids, just very user friendly.
Very durable plastic, no glass bottles or breakable parts.
FAVORITE:
My least favorite product, if I had to choose, would be the Root Lift Foam. I found it was a bit more heavy in my hair and greased things up much sooner.
So I’d have to wash my hair after 2 days as a pose to 3 or 4 if I had not applied this, am I making sense? It definitely assists with root lift, but I personally did not like the texture it left.
Someone who is looking for volume or root lift however would enjoy this mouse I’m sure.

This was the first time that I ever used a hair product like this and found it really easy to use. This product is designed to give you a weightless and flexible lift at your roots that is long lasting and this foam also contains a heat protection to help prevent breakage when you style your hair.
As this was my first time using a product like this I was really pleasantly surprised at how great it works and the wonderful lift it gives my hair at the roots.

Disclaimer: I'm very lazy when it comes to my hair. I generally give styling products a miss, except for my heat protection spray and a spritz of dry oil every now and then to smooth my ends.
So, when I got the opportunity to try the John Frieda Full Repair Protecting Root Lift Foam, I was intrigued and a little apprehensive...
Designed for dry, damaged hair that needs both nourishment and volume, this sounded like the perfect product to give life and lift to my fine, colour-treated hair lacking in moisture. Bonus: It provides heat protection too!
However, for lazy me to actually put it to good use, it would have to be a seriously low maintenance product...regardless of how great the results were.
The instructions seemed simple enough: Section your towel-dried hair, work the foam into your roots until the entire crown area is covered and then heat-style. I skipped the sectioning (obviously, what a mission) and scrunched 3 pumps of product into my roots. I then roughly blow-dried my hair and straightened the unruly bits.
I'm very pleased with the amount of lift that this product gave my lifeless locks without weighing them down. It's now Day 2 and I definitely feel that the product has made my hair softer and stronger without making it greasy.
I used this product after washing my hair with Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo, a light silicone-free shampoo that leaves no residue. I think that using the root lift foam with a very hydrating shampoo could cause hair to be greasy, so use caution...
John Frieda Full Repair Protecting Root Lift Foam is a low-maintenance styling product that I can definitely see myself using regularly. I highly recommend that you try it out if you have fine, dry hair that needs equal parts lift and moisture.
