Thank you BB for sending this to me to review!
The name, let me start there! i am a total shopaholic, so this polish suits me peeerfectly!
I found this formula better than any essie formula, it applied and dried fairly quickly.
I had to use 3 coats and this polish has quite a matte finish, which i love ( as a nail tech i just love this for the summer!)
I dont normally use/wear orange so this was a great chance to give it a go!
it chipped on my toes in 2 days but I am a dancer so i'm blaming it on the ballet shoes! ;)
Love essie, love nails, love colour!
THANK YOU BB! :)

Hello to all you BB Beauties,

I was sent one of the nail polishes from the Essie Neon Collection 2014 to try out.
Needless to say, Beauty Bulletin sent our parcels off, and the colours we were chosen to review were kept a surprise. I was delighted in opening my package and discovering that the colour I was chosen to review is "I'm Addicted".

This colour is a brilliant bold shade of blue. And blue happens to be one of my favourite colours (In older posts you might notice I have a lot of blue in the background of photos, because blue is the dominant theme in my room!)

I immediately took the beautiful Essie bottle and started applying the polish to my nails. I did two coats rather than one, as I wanted the polish to pop and found one coat to be too light for my liking. I also applied a clear top coat.

My favourite thing about this product is the brush was quite thin, which made it easy to get polish into the corners of my nails. And the polish left an almost gel-like effect after I had applied the second coat. And of course, I have to mention again how in love I am with this aqua blue statement colour!

You will notice in the photos I've attached that I also have an accent nail, on which I applied some black and silver glitter dust (I like to play around with my nails and do something different!).

So if you are looking for a bright pop of colour this spring/summer, I suggest you go shopping and pick up a bottle of I'm Addicted!

I was so happy when BB announced I was one of the lucky ladies to win an Essie Neon nail polish, because I love Essie. They nail polishes are of great quality and don't chip easily. They are a bit pricey, but the results are great.

I was thrilled when I open my package and saw I got the " Chills and Thrills" colour, which is a beautiful cobalt blue.It was one of the colours I wanted to have and it made it even more exciting!

I immediately removed the boring nail polish I had on and applied two coats of the Essie one. I sprayed Avon "dry freaze" spray so it would dry quick and it gave a good shine on it to, so there was no need for a top coat.

I love it!

I was also sent a nail polish to review, and the colour I received the awesome neon green! I think it is called Vices Versa.

Usually I'm not very adventurous with the colour nail polish I wear, so I was really excited to get out of my comfort zone and try something completely different.

The nail polish comes in the iconic embossed glass bottle with the white lid.

It took me four coats to get the best coverage, but admittedly it did dry quite quickly between coats so I wasn't sitting for hours with wet nails!

The colour is very bright and pigmented, but I would have to say that it is suited for more of a younger person. My mom tried it out too but found it a bit too neon for her liking.

I really like the colour - green reminds me of nature and being outside which is perfect for summer. I paired it with a neon pink that I had been given as a gift, and I love the results. To me it looks like "xbox green" - hence the photo with my xbox game!

I love the vibrancy of the colour, so if you are looking to make a statement with your nails, this one is for you!

Hello ladies,

I received one of the Essie Neon nail polishes to review from the lovely ladies at Beauty Bulletin, I believe the collection is called Too Taboo. I was super excited to try out these babies, the neon colours are vibrant and screams summer! I was given Too Taboo a fuchsia crème, it’s a pretty dark pink.

Colours in the Neon Collection:
Too Taboo
Vices Versa (lime green)
Sittin’ Pretty(bright lavender
Serial Shopper( bright orange)
I’m Addicted(aqua blue)
Chills & Thrills (dusty cobalt blue)

My thoughts?

I found that application was a breeze, Essie nail polishes are known to deliver a great finish and formula that lasts.. I honestly thought that the fuchsia would be brighter, it’s more of a dark pink and could possibly pass for a autumn shade. The formula is quite thick, which is awesome because you can get away with only applying one coat, this is a major time saver.. I pretty much suck at applying nail polish but Essie makes it easy with their easy to apply applicator brush.

The finish is somewhat gel like and honestly looks better with a top coat to make the colour really pop. What really gets me excited about this Neon fuchsia formula is that it tries really quickly.
Ever find yourself applying nail polish and then find yourself doing things well then this is nail polish for you this colour dried in about 2 minutes that sure does get a thumbs up from me.
