J’Adore by Dior

This scent to me is the epitome of a modern classic. Since the day I first smelt it, I knew that I had to have it. Maybe it's the fact that our Charlize looks like a golden Greek goddess in the advertisement, but I feel glamorous and sensual whenever I wear it. The scent mirrors the captivating bottle - it's described as a fruity white floral. It combines top notes of fresh mandarin with plum, orchid, jasmine and rose to create a sparkling, rich scent. Created in 1999, the fragrance has become one of the world's best-selling scents, inspiring a range of follow-up fragrances in the same floral family.

Givenchy Very Irresistable

This is one of those really romantic scents. As you spritz it onto skin, it opens up with heady top notes of Verbena Leaf and Star Anise that instantly grab the attention. It then settles into a warm, musky, passionate infusion. I would describe it as flowery and powdery, quite rich and luxurious smelling. What's even better, I find that it appeals to all ages. I've been wearing this scent since my early 20s and receive compliments from young and old alike. But although it's heavily floral, it doesn't have any of the sickly-sweet gourmand notes of so many younger fragrances that appeal to a younger market. Then again, the poster girl for this scent is the sublime Liv Tyler... modern elegance personified! If you love the rich, feminine smell of fresh roses, you won't go wrong with Very Irresistible.
