Neutrogena

Having once been a small cosmetics specialty company, Neutrogena is now a successful corporation providing some of the world’s best hair and skin care products as well as the approval of many dermatologists.

With its headquarters based in Los Angeles, the Neutrogena Corporation was founded in 1930 by Emanuel Stolaroff and at the time was called Natone. Stolaroff used Natone to supply film industry salons and make-up artists with specialty cosmetics. It was not until the 1940's that Natone products were available to the general public.

Importing the patent soap Neutrogena from a European chemist, Stolaroff thought the soap was a valuable product Americas can benefit from. The soap was proven to not irritate the skin and allowing it to return it to its normal pH in almost the same time as if it were being washed with water.

By the early 1960s with Natone known for its signature product, the Neutrogena soap, the company officially became known as the Neutrogena Corporation.

Narciso Rodriguez

Narciso Rodriguez is a fashion label that has been making a big impact for over 20 years. He has designed for many famous people, including Michelle Obama and Carolyn Bessette. Other than the fantastic fashion designs from Narciso Rodriguez, there is also a range of fragrances for both men and women.

In 2003, the first Narciso Rodriguez fragrance, For Her, was released in collaboration with Beauté Prestige International. After much success with this women’s fragrance, the Narciso Rodriguez For Him fragrance was released in 2007 and it has also won a few awards.

The third fragrance from Narciso Rodriguez, Essence was launched in 2009. The Essence range also has a shower gel and a body lotion as well as a perfumed deodorant inspired by the fragrance.

These three collections have made a big impact in the world of fragrances and are seen as being representative of what modern fragrances should be.

Molton Brown

In 1973 Molton Brown opened at 58 South Molton Street in London's Mayfair as a hair salon. The salon's name paid homage to the location and the company set out to be unique from the start. This was a London very much in love with synthetics.

But here came Molton Brown: soft, individual and Natural with a capital N. Out went hairdryers and tonging, in came finger drying. Identikit styles from TV or magazines were out, and Molton Brown brought in haircuts designed to flatter the client's individuality.

The salon became a hit and it didn't stop at that. The first retail products were hand-mixed upstairs from nettles and camomile; Dale Daxon Bowers joined the team in 1978 fresh from Mary Quant cosmetics, and set to work in a makeshift lab in the kitchen above Browns boutique. Dale's passion, creativity and belief that nature would be the focus for her new inventions, was the source of a whole new range. She was a perfectionist and she wanted to follow her own path.
By the 1980s the salon had evolved into the Molton Brown emporium where Dale's plant-based make-up, hair, body, skin and grooming products were sold to those in the know. This was just the beginning and from here we were approached to supply top-end stores, airlines and hotels in cities around the world.

Two decades later and the creative team has expanded out of the South Molton Street make-shift lab to a more glamorous set-up in Hertfordshire, just outside London. Today the scale is bigger, but the same passion still flows through the veins of the company and inspires everything they do. You can now experience their creations in more than 70 countries world-wide, in their own emporium, spas and online and in the world's leading luxury hotels and airlines.
